Peach Water

- 1 medium peach
- ⅓ cup ice
- 1 cup (250mls) water
Fruit such as
- Citrus: orange, lemon or lime
- Berries: strawberry, raspberries, blueberries
- Mango or other complemetary flavours
Herbs and spices such as
- Herbs: basil or mint
- Spices: ginger, cinnamon, cardamom or vanilla
Cut the peaches in half and remove the stone. Slice the peaches into thinnish wedges.
If using, prepare your other mixins. Slice fruit such as oranges, lemons, or mangoes. Pick herbs such as mint or basil.
Add the mixins and peach slices to a glass and top with room temperature water. For maximum flavor chill in the fridge for an hour or up to overnight to let the flavors infuse.
To serve top up with ice and enjoy!
To amp up the flavour you can add your favorite mixins to this easy peach water. Some refreshing combinations include:
- Ginger, peach and orange
- Strawberry, peach and basil
- Lime, peach and mint
For milder herb flavor leave the leaves whole. For a stronger herb flavour you can roughly chop them, the choice is yours!
Storage:
This can be stored for up to two days in a covered container in the fridge. The flavours will continue to develop over time so if you are using other mix-ins you may want to remove these before storing so they don't dominate the peach flavor.
